My Journey So Far

I’m a cultural journalist with a wide of range of interests that include on-screen representation, mental health, diversity, gender equality, diaspora, sustainability, film and TV, entertainment, music, travel, art, architecture, and food.

So far, my four-year stint with the digital media industry has led me to work in newsrooms in India and the United States including Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, CNN, Investopedia, and more. Currently, I’m working as an Editorial Contributor at Harper’s Bazaar India—helping the legacy publication build its digital presence—while preparing for my upcoming year as a student at Columbia Journalism School’s M.A. in Arts and Culture program. Previously, I have served as the Digital Features Editor at Vogue India and pursued my B.A. in Media, Culture, and Communication at New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. If you’re interested in my editorial services, you can access my complete resume here.

More than my degrees or work experience, what brings me back to my desk each morning is an innate, inevitable love for words, for arranging sentences on paper, and for making meaning of my many musings and observations about the world around me. I hope you enjoy reading my pieces as much as I have enjoyed writing them.
